Al-Quds Will Always Bring Us Together

al-Quds-and-Palestinian-FlagSo al-Quds would remain the Muslims’ Kiblah, the Mujahideen prepared for prayers towards it…
So the people’s memory would not wither or be Judaized, and so that sanctities would not wander or be seized…
So the nation would remain strong and mighty, unified by a common goal and one dream…

For all this, the Imam announced a day for al-Quds, so it would gather us beneath its wing.

Palestine will remain a blaze even if dim

The Palestinian cause today has become at the bottom of priorities and interests. The Arab world, amidst its revolutions, has backed down from Palestine, and this is highly dangerous;

This conclusion was drawn by member of the political leadership in “Hamas” Movement Mahmoud al-Zahhar on the current Arab reality.

In his opinion, some submissive Arab regimes – that have never stood beside Palestine and its cause – secretly and publically work to fabricate accusations on the resistance, targeting its sacredness, path, and choice, ending the Palestinian cause and promoting its compliant schemes.

Also, The Imam of al-Quds Mosque in Sidon His Eminence Sheikh Maher Hammoud and the official of the Popular Front – The General Command in Lebanon Abu Imad Ramez Mustafa both back al-Zahhar on his opinion.

For his part, Abu Imad considered that the Zionist entity tries hard, through its tools in the region, to bury and end the Palestinian cause, referring to the US Secretary of State John Kerry’s repetitive visits for a suspicious compromise over the pillars of rights.

He added, “The enemy constantly attempts on dividing the divided, breaking the broken, and crumbling the region into ethnic and sectarian countries so that its plans could be executed smoothly.”

As for Sheikh Maher Hammoud, he stressed on the role of “future generations in putting things in its right place after standards have been lost and balances been tipped over in our region.”

“The Americans are dividing the nation to serve “Israel”,” he added, calling on Arabs and Muslims to unite, be aware of the Zionist-American plots, and face their evil.

Moreover, al-Zahhar believed that the reason behind the dispersal of Palestinians in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip is because of the Palestinian Authority’s cooperation with the “Israeli” occupation, and the outcome of the nonsense negotiation policy in giving up territories. This greatly contributes, according to al-Zahhar, in the procrastination of protecting al-Quds and preventing it from being Judaized.

He further reminded that the Arab regimes contributed in a way in occupying Palestine; in 1984, these regimes could not liberate the occupied Palestinian lands, and in 1956, the occupation’s scope broadened. As for 1967, the remainder of Palestine was lost.

Al-Zahhar reiterated that the problem does not lie within the Arab regimes or people alone, but in the Palestinian people themselves; a great part of them were neutralized, and their hope murdered and conscious obliterated, which made them give up their dream in liberating their land.

Furthermore, al-Zahhar admitted that “the Palestinian cause is going through its worst phase yet, because there is no one who is truly concerned with it in mind and heart and who sincerely carries its duty upon him.”

“The people are divided into parties and groups over the Palestinian soil. Outside the borders, people live with their own concerns, face their own worries and are occupied with their own business. This pushes them far from being interested with what is happening outside their country, and whether there is hope in the peoples’ ability to overcome domestic adversity one day and return to the unified dream of Palestinian al-Quds.”

We give al-Quds all our time and days

Abu Imad Mustafa, on the other hand, believed that the significance of al-Quds Day – announced by the late Imam Khomeini on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan – lies in making people aware of this cause and its disseized sanctities, and keep this duty until al-Aqsa Mosque is liberated and the Palestinian refugees return from diaspora.

He further called on all to support the Arab, Islamic, and Christian Palestinians in light of the daily Judaization policies.

As for al-Zahhar, he reiterated that “al-Quds will stay in our conscious in every minute. We see al-Quds in all the constant arrests, assaults, settlements and threats. Palestinians carry al-Quds’s worry every minute and have never forgotten it.”

“It is good to have a day to remind us of al-Quds,” he added.

For his part, Sheikh Hammoud added, “Al-Quds is a great occasion to spread awareness on the symbol the city represents.”

However, he further urged the necessity of not sufficing to merely commemorating this occasion, but to consider this day a part of the resistance’s strategic belief system.

Hammoud added that the nation must be rehabilitated politically, socially, and culturally and must step away from internal disagreements in order to reach liberation and victory.

Al-Quds to remain the Jihad and true resistance compass

Current events in several countries in the Islamic and Arab world invite us to express solidarity with the resistance forces in the deterrence axis, starting with the Islamic Republic and the Syrian Arab Republic, reaching Lebanon and Palestine.

According to Mustafa, “Our duty as a resistance and national parties is to reset the compass to al-Quds and break anything else, because Palestine gives up on those who give up on it.”

In a similar context, al-Zahhar underscored the close ties between the Islamic resistance movements “Hamas” and Hizbullah. “Our relation with Hizbullah is good, especially in the resistance field. Even if both parties are occupied with their own internal problems, they share one strategic vision.”

Both Palestinian leaderships stressed that al-Quds cannot be retrieved but by the resistance and its path, conduct, and weapon. They further underlined the importance of Palestinians to unite, whether in the West Bank, Gaza, or diaspora.

Moreover, they pointed out to the significance of protecting the resistance and maintaining its achievements so the Palestinian people would not lose what it gained from their resistance’s sacrifices.

Also, Mustafa thanked the Islamic Republic of Iran for its supportive stances to the resistance in Gaza in liberating al-Quds.

Sheikh Hammoud further advised the resistance fighters to “be patient and endure.”

“The number of conspirators and pleas of submissive people shouldn’t prevent you from continuing to endure hardship and adversity. From Lebanon to Palestine and all lands, you represent great models of determination and perseverance to the nation, and this must remain within you until Allah orders victory and liberation of our sacred land,” he added.

Sheikh Hammoud belittled the “systemized attack on the resistance’s weapon, since the misleading attacks existed since the Prophet Mohammad’s time. History is filled with these cowards who want to change identities and distort compasses, but persevering on our stances and maintaining our victories will make it up for us in Allah’s will.”

Despite the dark times the region is witnessing and the division among its people, the three parties all agree that Palestine will remain the Arab and Muslim compass no matter how big internal fighting gets. Time in every land swore that al-Quds will remain the rebel’s hymn and the patient melody that bestows triumph upon us!
