The Syrian army regained control of a dozen strategic villages in Eastern Qamishli province.
The Syrian troops liberated 15 villages, including Taloul Mohammad Kabir, Taloul Mohammad Saghir, Al-Kiteh, Al-Kiteh Farm, Al-Dalavieh Al-Kabir, Al-Dalavieh Al-Saqir, Shamasieh and Khalid Farm in the Southwestern countryside of Qamishli.

The victories of the Syrian army came as ISIL sustained heavy losses in in Aleppo and Kobani.

Also in the past 24 hours, the Syrian Armed Forces killed several Takfiri terrorists in their continued operations against the ISIL forces in the Eastern and Northern countryside of Homs.

A military source said that Army men targeted the ISIL strongholds in Ez-Eddin and al-Sa’en in Talbeisa area, which resulted in the killing and wounding of too many gunmen.

The Eastern countryside of Homs central province, in Salam Gharbi, al-Doiba and Om al-Rish villages, there were also heavy clashes between the Syrian soldiers and militants who preferred to fled the battlefields.

Elsewhere, the Syrian Armed Forces’ operations against insurgents across Damascus province resulted in killing and wounding of so many anti-government fighters and arrest of some others.

Scores of rebels, mainly from the so-called “Islam army terrorist group” in the villages of Eastern Ghouta in Damascus countryside were killed in Syrian commandoes’ attacks.

Aliya farms, North of Douam, witnessed fierce clashes that resulted in the killing of scores of the terrorists, while army soldiers targeted militants’ strongholds in center of Douma.

Meantime, a total of 137 wanted people from Homs, Idlib and Aleppo turned themselves in to the authorities.

Since January, hundreds of gunmen, who were involved in insurgency, turned themselves in to authorities in Idlib, Hama, Homs and Aleppo to settle their files.

Also, the Syrian army liberated more villages in Hasaka province which once was the scene insurgent’s brutality against the country’s villages.

Syrian troops targeted the ISIL terrorists’ strongholds in the Southern countryside of Hasaka, inflicting heavy losses upon them.

Al-Badran village, 20 km South of Hasaka city, was the scene heavy clashes between the Syrian soldiers and the ISIL terrorist who left so many killed and inured and forced to leave the battlefield.

These operations came one day after the army restored full security to the villages of al-Watwatiyeh, Jammo, Jammo Farm, and the Eastern part of Bab al-Kheir village in the South.

Syria has been the scene of insurgency since 2011 when certain western powers and their regional allies voiced loudly that Syrian protests have no diplomatic solution and they started supplying the country’s opposition groups with their arms and funds.

In 2014, specially after victory of President Bashar al-Assad in the country’s presidential election, the army has gained upper hand in its anti-terrorism campaign, and has been partly successful in sealing borders with Turkey and Jordan.
