Syria in Past 24 Hours: Tahrir Al-Sham, White Helmets Readying to Launch False-Flag Chemical Attack in Idlib

Tahrir al-Sham al-Hay’at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) terrorists and pro-militant White Helmets terrorists have fully prepared to launch false-flag chemical attack in Idlib Province.

Idlib

Tahrir al-Sham and other terrorist groups have coordinated with the White Helmets in Jorjnaz town in Ma’arat al-Numan region in Southern Idlib, the Arabic-language al-Mayadeen TV network quoted local sources in Idlib as saying.

The sources pointed to the terrorists’ attempt to launch false-flag chemical attacks in Idlib at the order of their foreign sponsors, and said that the terrorists intend to use chlorine gas against civilians, including children who have been kidnapped from different regions of Idlib in recent years.

The terrorists plan to provide a pretext for attacks on Syria by the US-led coalition by carrying out false chemical attacks.

Also in the past 24 hours, a large number of terrorists were killed and injured in a massive explosion at the headquarters of Tahrir al-Sham al-Hay’at in West of Idlib province, sources said.

A bomb-laden vehicle was exploded in the city of Jisr al-Shoghour in Western Idlib, killing and injuring at least 40 terrorists, pro-militant sources said.

The sources said that at least 15 militants were killed and 27 others wounded, including a number of terrorists.

Meantime, the Arabic-language al-Mayadeen TV network reported that the blast took place in at Tahrir al-Sham’s regional headquarters.

Homs

The US Army has turned the Rukban into a prison and prevents people from leaving the refugee camp and it demonstrates that the US government is violating the international laws, Syrian Deputy Defense Minister said during a conference on international security in Moscow.

He added that Damascus is against Washington intention to leave some of its troops in Syria and will consider it as aggression, RIA Novosti reported. 

The Rukban refugee camp is part of the US-controlled zone around its base in al-Tanf.

Russia and Syria have repeatedly tried to draw the attention of the international community to the deplorable conditions at the camp, which houses more than 40,000 internally displaced people, mostly women and children.

Quneitra

The Syrian Army discovered a cache of arms and military equipment, including the US, Israeli and western weapons, during cleansing operations South of Quneitra province.

The Syrian Army’s engineering units discovered depots packed with weapons and military equipment, some of them made in the US and Israel, left behind by terrorists in several towns and villages in Southern Quneitra.

A military source, meantime, said that the Syrian Army troops found different machineguns, anti-tank missiles, state-of-the-art telecommunications systems, West-made mines, satellite equipment and different kind of Saudi manufactured drugs and medicine.

Deir Ezzur

The Syrian Army warded off an attack by the ISIL terrorists on a strategic road near the border with Iraq after the US plot to take control of strategic cities in Eastern Deir Ezzur were exposed.

The Syrian Army units engaged in fierce clashes with the ISIL terrorists in Sayyal town along Deir Ezzur-Bukamal road in Eastern Deir Ezzur, the Arabic-language website of Russian Sputnik news agency quoted a Syrian Army military source as saying.

The source pointed to fending off the ISIL’s attack and inflicting heavy losses on them, and rejected the news reports that Deir Ezzur Airport has came under attack.

Meantime, ISIL’s attacks on the Syrian Army military positions near Bukamal border road have intensified after the US disclosed its plan to occupy the strategic regions of Al-Mayadeen and Bukamal cities and cut off Bukamal border crossing.
