Syria: Many Terrorists Killed in Clashes

Syrian army troops killed leaders of several terrorist groups in Eastern Ghouta and Southern Damascus countryside.
Army sources said a large number of terrorists were killed and others injured in a series of operations against their hideouts in al-Qaboun and Jobar neighborhoods, among them the leader of a terrorist group.

“In addition, the army destroyed the ordnance, weapons and ammunitions of rebel groups in Jobar and Haramlah,” a source said.

The source added that an army unit clashed with a terrorist group South of Shammout automobile company and near the schools in al-Baidar neighborhood in Harasta, killing most of its members, as another unit destroyed the den of a terrorist group in al-Eb farms in Douma and killed all the terrorists inside, among them the group’s leader.

Also, most members two terrorist groups were killed in Deir Salman town in Eastern Ghouta, including their leaders, as another army unit destroyed a terrorist den with heavy machineguns inside. The army killed all the terrorists inside the den in al-Sayyida Zeinab area.

In the Southern countryside of Damascus, army units carried out a series of operations in al-Hajar al-Aswad, Babbila and Hijjera that led to the destruction of terrorists’ concentrations and dens with the weapons and ammunition inside, also eliminating a terrorist group called ‘Ababil Horan Battalion’.

Locals in al-Misherfeh town in al-Nabek repelled al-Nusra Front terrorists who tried to enter the town, killing and injuring a number of them.

Army units destroy al-Nusra Front weapons in Aleppo city and countryside

Army units killed and injured al-Nusra Front terrorists and thwarted attempts by them to infiltrate into safe areas in Aleppo city, also destroying heavy weapons and ammunition in several areas in rural Aleppo.

An official source said that terrorists were killed on the roads linking Hreitan, al-Castillo and Andan, adding that weapons and ammunition loaded in 4 cars were destroyed.

An army unit destroyed weapons and ammunition for al-Nusra Front terrorists near al-Zira’s building and in the area surrounding Aleppo central prison and near the entrance of the industrial city in Sheikh Najjar, killing many, the source pointed out.

The source indicated that terrorists’ concentrations were destroyed in Mayer and Minnegh villages in addition to destroying heavy and medium machineguns, as an army unit killed terrorists who were driving cars loaded with weapons and ammunition South of Khan al-Assal in Aleppo Southwestern countryside.

In Aleppo old city, army units clashed with terrorist groups that tried to infiltrate into the safe areas in the city, killing and injuring many of their members, as other units foiled attempts by al-Nusra Front terrorists to infiltrate into al-Rashidin, al-Sheikh Maksoud and al-Khalidieh neighborhoods, destroying their weapons and ammunition.

Terrorists targeted in their dens in Homs

Units of the armed forces repelled a group of terrorists who tried to attack a military point inside the city of Palmyra in Homs countryside, killing and injuring all of the terrorists, an official source said.

The source added that an army unit clashed with a terrorist group in al-Waer neighborhood, inflicting heavy losses upon its members.

Another army unit, the source said, destroyed dens for terrorists in the neighborhoods of Jouret al-Shayah and Bab Hood, along with the weapons and ammunition inside them.

Gatherings and dens for terrorists were destroyed in the villages and towns of Taldo, al-Hosn, Talbiseh and al-Rastan. The weapons and ammunition the terrorists had with them were destroyed.

Terrorist groups’ leaders killed, workshop for making bombs destroyed in Idlib

The army units destroyed a workshop for making explosive devices and a number of al-Nusra Front terrorists’ dens in several villages, towns and cities in Idlib countryside.

The news agency quoted a military source as saying that numbers of terrorists were killed and injured and their weapons were destroyed in the towns and villages of al-Bareh, Shanan, Frikeh, Kfarroum, Maaret al-Numan and Nahleh.

The source added that a unit of the armed forces destroyed a workshop for making explosive devices in the city of Saraqeb, killing and injuring all of the terrorists inside the workshop.

Another army unit eliminated terrorists from al-Nusra Front who were inside a den in Saraqeb.

The source said that two dens for leaders of terrorist groups affiliated to al-Nusra Front were destroyed in the city of Binnesh. Ten terrorists were killed in the operation.

In another context, units of the armed forces foiled attempts by terrorists to detonate 11 explosive devices, weighing 10-50 kg, and 5 anti-tank mines on al-Rami-Kfarshalaya road in Ariha city.

Large numbers of terrorists killed in Daraa

In Daraa, units of the armed forces carried out a number of operations targeting terrorist groups affiliated to al-Nusra Front in different towns and neighborhood in the city.

According to a military source, several dens and gatherings for terrorists from al-Nusra Front were destroyed in the city of Nawa.

Many terrorists were killed in the operations, including Walid Fawzi al-Subhi, leader of a terrorist group. Terrorists Mohammad Raed al-Bqeirat, Anwar Qassem al-Deiri, Mohammad Issa al-Ta’ani, Raed al-Jahamani, Hamzeh Issa Abo Orra, Ammar al-Sweidani and Mohammd Meri al-Shablaq were identified among the dead.

The source said that army units eliminated terrorists in several operations carried out in the towns of Mahajjeh, al-Mleiheh al-Gharbiyeh and Said. The terrorists’ weapons and ammunition were destroyed.

Terrorist Mohammad al-Ghouthani was identified among the dead.

The army seizes control over building blocks near Daraa National Hospital

In the meantime, a unit of the armed forces seized control over a number of building blocks in the surrounding of the National Hospital in the city of Daraa after it killed the terrorists who had been stationed at the buildings.

Other army units clashed with terrorists in al-Hamadin neighborhood in the city, killing many of them including Khalid Kasouheh and Ahmad al-Rifae’.

Al-Nusra Front den destroyed in Hama countryside

An army unit destroyed a den for al-Nusra Front terrorists who were using it as a training center Northeast of al- Habit town in Hama countryside.

An official source said that all the terrorists inside the den were killed, some of them non-Syrians, in addition to destroying weapons and ammunition for them.

The source added that an army unit foiled terrorists’ attempt to detonate a 75-kg explosive device near Janan town on al-Salamiyeh-Hama road.
