“Syria was the only country which resisted against Zionist regime and was followed by Hezbollah”: Vahidi

Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi said countries which claim they support human rights and democracy accuse Syria of human rights breach.

Vahidi criticized western countries’ unilateral approach towards the issue of human rights, saying the heads of arrogant powers should avoid lie and deception against the awakened conscience of their nations.

The Defense Minister referred to great achievements of Iran, saying they are all indebted to Iranian martyrs’ bravery against Iraqi regime — which had led to liberation of southeastern City of Khorramshahr.

He stressed that one of the big achievements including the Islamic Awakening in the world of Islam have led to a great development in the world.

Vahidi pointed out that the courtiers which financially supported Saddam Hossein and its regime are repeating the motto of supporting the human rights and democracy.

Iranian senior official reiterated these countries along with the U.S. and Zionist regime accuse Syria of human rights’ violation while Syria was the only country which was against Saddam’s policies in the region.

Vahidi went on to say that Syria was the only country which resisted against Zionist regime and was followed by Hezbollah.

Now the countries claiming to advocate human rights and democracy aim to make the country follow their policies though they have not succeeded in this regard.

He continued Iran’s success and power in international level would increase day by day when deception dominates the world.
