Syrian Armed Group Claims Responsibility for Bekaa Attack, Killing of 4 Lebanese

A group of militant Syrians claimed on Wednesday the responsibility for killing the four Lebanese citizens in Rafeq Valley of Bekaa in East Lebanon.

The group, calling itself as ‘Mujahedeen Company Deployed on Syrian-Lebanese Border’, claimed responsibility in a video it posted on YouTube.

The video showed three masked men with arms, one of them reciting a statement of acknowledgement.

The group claimed that its militiamen have thwarted a car belonging to Hezbollah during its attempt to enter the Syrian territory, killing four members.

The militiaman unfolded cards he said are the IDs of the four victims.

Four citizens were killed in an armed ambush in Ersal’s barren mountains on Sunday, when militants attacked armless young men who were fixing their broken car in the area. The criminals killed the four and stole their possessions.
