Hezbollah targets and strikes six ‘israeli’ Merkava tanks in southern Lebanon

On Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at approximately 2:00 PM, Hezbollah fighters engaged an advancing group of Israeli soldiers near the town of Taybeh. The militants reportedly launched a guided missile at an Israeli Merkava tank, resulting in confirmed casualties, including both fatalities and injuries.
A recent statement reported that fighters from the Islamic Resistance successfully targeted a Merkava tank in the area near Misgav Am using a guided missile. The strike resulted in the tank catching fire and caused casualties among its crew.
A resistance faction has successfully intercepted and brought down a Hermes 450 drone near the Lebanese town of Jebchit.
