Latest map of Al-Mayadeen battle in Deir Ezzor

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) renewed their offensive in ISIS de facto capital, Al-Mayadeen, this week, striking the terrorist group’s positions in the western district of the city.

Using heavy artillery and missiles, the Syrian Arab Army’s Tiger Forces stormed Al-Mayadeen from two axes, liberating at least 50 percent of the city before nightfall on Wednesday.

The Syrian Army liberated the western districts of Al-Mayadeen last week; however, they were forced to withdraw.
