Syrian Army Conducts Massive Operations in Jobar, Destroys Terrorists’ Command Centers

The Syrian army units carried out massive operations against foreign-backed militants in Jobar town in Damascus countryside, and destroyed terrorists’ strategic military centers in the region.
The Syrian air force destroyed three command centers of the terrorists in Jobar town, FNA dispatches said.

Meantime, the Syrian army’s infantry units fiercely clashes with the terrorists in Al-Afran and Al-Berleman streets in Jobar town.

Also, other army units destroyed the positions of the militants in Nafaq Harmaleh in Damascus countryside as well as Zumalka, Arbeen, Hamouriyeh and Ain Tarma towns.

In similar operations last week, the Syrian infantry, air force and artillery units carried out a series of joint operations against the militants in Jobar.

The conflict in Syria started in March 2011, when sporadic pro-reform protests turned into a massive insurgency following the intervention of western and regional states.

The unrest, which took in terrorist groups from across Europe, the Middle-East and North Africa, has transpired as one of the bloodiest conflicts in recent history.

As the foreign-backed insurgency in Syria continues without an end in sight, the US government has boosted its political and military support to Takfiri extremists.

Washington has remained indifferent to warnings by Russia and other world powers about the consequences of arming militant groups.
