Syrian Army Continues Advances in Hama, Idlib Provinces, Kills 40 Terrorists, Commanders

The Syrian army continued its advances in Hama and Idlib provinces, and killed over three dozen terrorists and their leaders in fierce clashes with the terrorist groups.

At least 40 terrorists, including notorious commanders, were killed in the Syrian army’s artillery attacks on their military positions and gathering centers as well as supply routes in Hama and Idlib provinces.

The killed terrorists were from Ahrar al-Sham, Jund al-Aqsa and Ajnad al-Sham terrorist groups.

Meantime, the Syrian air force pounded the terrorists’ military positions in Tal Merei, to the West of al-Lataminah, Tal Skeik and to the West of Atshan in the Northern part of Hama province near the provincial border with Idlib, battlefield military sources disclosed.

The sources also disclosed that Syrian fighter jets hit the terrorists’ sites to the East of Khan Sheikhoun, al-Sheikh Mustafa and to the East of Ma’aret al-Nouman in the Southern countryside of Idlib.

At least 11 military vehicles of the terrorists were also destroyed in the Syrian airstrikes.

The Syrian army’s ground force targeted and destroyed the terrorists’ military positions in the surrounding areas of Atshan village Northeast of Hama as the country’s air force struck different regions in the town of al-Lataminah.

The ground troops also advanced in several districts of al-Lataminah town with air force backup.

The Syrian fighter jets also pounded military positions of the terrorists in the village of Um Harateen in Northeastern countryside of Hama and al-Zara village in Southern Hama.

Meantime, the terrorists’ military positions in Hirbnafsa in Southern Hama also came under the Syrian airstrikes.

In the Southwestern countryside of Hama, the Fatah al-Sham Front (the newly formed al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorist group previously known as the al-Nusra Front) attempted to take control of al-Zara power plant, but they were pushed back by the Syrian army.

The Syrian army also destroyed a BMP vehicle in al-Madajen Front to the North of al-Zara village.
