Syrian Army continues mass buildup of forces near Idlib

The Syrian Arab Army continued their massive buildup of forces in northwestern Syria, today, despite the ongoing talks between the Russian, Iranian, and Turkish leaders in Tehran. 

According to a military source in Hama, Syrian Arab Army sent more reinforcements to the southern provincial axis of the Idlib Governorate this week, as their offensive nears. 

The Syrian Army reinforcements were reportedly redeployed from the southern provinces of Sweida, Damascus, and Dara’a to Hama, along with a large number of tanks and armored vehicles.

Tens of thousands of soldiers have already made their way to the Hama province, as the Syrian Army looks to grow their forces in preparation for the northwestern Syria offensive.

In the coming days, the Syrian Army and their allies will begin their long awaited offensive to retake the Jisr Al-Shughour District, Kurdish and Turkmen mountains, and Al-Ghaab Plain.
