Syrian Army Continues to Hit Hard Al-Nusra Positions in Eastern Damascus

The army soldiers engaged in fierce clashes with Al-Nusra in al-Hefaz street, and managed to drive the terrorists out of their positions.
The army men won back a network of tunnels and trenches of Al-Nusra in al-Qaboun.
In the meantime, the army units targeted the Al-Nusra positions and gathering centers in the Power Company, al-Mal’ab (sports) region and Makab al-Nafayat region in al-Qaboun.
Reports said earlier today that the army men engaged in fierce clashes with Al-Nusra Front in Barzeh farms, pushing them back from a number of positions in a region South of Masbah al-Bostan (Bostan Pool).
Several tunnels and a command center of Al-Nusra, a religious court, a torturing jail and an arms-manufacturing workshop were destroyed in the attack.
Local sources said that fierce clashes are still underway between the army units and Al-Nusra terrorists in al-Qaboun and Tishrin farms.
