According to IRIB, the chemical injured told the Iranian MPs on Sunday that after hitting a bomb in the region, a cloud of toxic pink-color gas rose into the air and resulted in chemical injuries on the people in the area.
The Iranian team, headed by chief of Iran’s Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee Alaeddin Boroujerdi, during the visit talked about the inhalation of toxic gas by the injured and said that burns and symptoms all proved existence of Sarin gas in the area and that injury is caused by exposure to certain toxic materials.
Boroujerdi added that the Iranian MPs have found no single proof indicative of use of chemical weapons by the Syrian military.
The Iranian team arrived in Damascus Saturday, to meet and confer with the Syrian officials and to closely study the situation and developments in the crisis-hit Arab state.
