People of Syria Express Rejection of Foreign Interference

Mass gatherings were organized at the main Square in Ras El-Ein city to support reforms, emphasize national unity and reject foreign interference in the Syrian internal affairs.

The participants chanted slogans and raised banners calling upon the observers’ mission to convey the true image of the heinous crimes perpetrated by the armed terrorist groups, voicing resolve to remain united and committed to their leadership in the face of terrorism.

Said Elias, a writer, said ”Our gathering today gives the lie to what is being promoted by misleading channels and sends a clear message to the whole world that this great people will never bow to pressure.”

Omar al-Salem, an engineer, called upon the Arab observers to relay facts objectively and professionally, and convey the Syrians’ rejection of the armed terrorist groups’ massacres against innocent civilians.

In Ras El-Ein , Milad Doushi, a participant, said that President al-Assad in his recent speech outlined the phases of the conspiracy and the way the Syrian people foiled it.

Hussein El-Helou said that Syria is the cradle of divine religions, adding ”Colonizers have tried over and over again to have a foothold in Syria…these attempts have always been met with failure due to the sacrifices of the Syrian people.”
