Resistance Economy only way out of unemployment problem: Salehi

Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Ali-Akbar Salehi said Sunday that Resistance Economy recommended by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is the only way out of economic problems such as unemployment.

Salehi made the remarks while speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a ceremony at Shahid Beheshti University to appreciate Iranian entrepreneurs.

Creating jobs is a complicated issue that will not be solved with mottos and requires economic infrastructures to improve, Salehi said.

Underlining the high percentage of unemployment among university graduates, Salehi said the government has taken major strides to tackle unemployment.

He said that $300-500 million has been approved by the government to be allocated to the Fund to Support Science-Based Companies over the next year to create jobs for unemployed university graduates.
