Syrian Army keeps advancing towards Idlib, new town captured

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) resumed their offensive in the northeastern countryside of the Hama Governorate, Sunday, targeting Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s last positions near the Idlib provincial border.

Following their big advance on Saturday, the Syrian Arab Army’s Qalamoun Shield forces attacked Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s positions at the town of Abu Al-Ghir near recently captured Al-Hasnawi.

With the town already under their fire control, the Syrian Arab Army’s Qalamoun Shield forces were able to expel the remaining HTS militants from Abu Al-Ghir and its surrounding hills, giving them full control over this area
