Syrian Army liberates Al-Mayadeen Airport to cut key terrorist supply line

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) is steadily advancing inside the Islamic State’s (ISIS) capital city, Al-Mayadeen, liberating several sites that were previously occupied by the terrorist group.

Led by the Tiger Forces, the Syrian Arab Army managed to score another big advance, today, after their units from the Taha Group liberated the strategic Al-Mayadeen Airport after a fierce battle with ISIS in the southern outskirts of the city.

As result of this advance, the Syrian Arab Army has cutoff the Islamic State’s supply line from the strategic city of Albukamal, which is located southeast of Al-Mayadeen.

A military source told Al-Masdar News a few minutes ago that he expects the entire city to be liberated by the Syrian Arab Army soon, as Al-Mayadeen is surrounded from two different flanks.
