Syrian Army Operation near Air Force Academy Inflicts Heavy Losses on ISIL

The sources said that at least 20 militants were killed in the pro-government forces’ operation in the surrounding areas of the Air Force Academy.

The ISIL heavy machinery and military vehicles were also destroyed in the mentioned operation.

In a raid earlier today the Syrian Army and the country’s National Defense Forces (NDF) pushed back militants from the surrounding areas of the Air Force Academy in the Eastern countryside of Aleppo.

The pro-government forces’ operation in the Eastern countryside of Aleppo has brought about significant results and the strategic area of the Air Force Academy is now under the full control of the Syrian forces, army sources said.
