Syrian Army Pushes Back Nusra Terrorists from Part of Dara’a City

The al-Qaeda-affiliated Nusra Front withdrew forces form at least 14 buildings in the Southwest of al-Manshiyeh neighborhood in Dara’a al-Balad, the sources said.

“A number of Nusra terrorists were killed or wounded and their arms and ammunition were destroyed in the army’s operation,” the sources further added.

Sources said on Sunday that the Syrian army was staging a growing number of raids in the Southern province of Dara’a with several operations conducted in multiple locations.

After several day-long surveillances, the army first pounded militants’ gatherings and destroyed an arms and logistics depot of the terrorists North of Umm Walad village between Dara’a and Sweida.

Also, the army targeted the Al-Nusra Front concentration centers in Zenoubia School and Al-Watani (National) Hospital in Dara’a al-Mohatta district.

The Syrian army troops marched on the Takfiri terrorists’ positions in Dara’a on Saturday. The army troops also struck heavy blows at the militants’ positions in the city of Inkhil, and the towns of Zimrin and Simlin in Dara’a.
