Syrian Army Repels ISIL’s Attempt to Infiltrate in Quaryatayn Countryside

The ISIL militants attempted to prevail over the army strongholds in Thania Rashid area near Quaryatayn, but failed due to the Syrian troops’ rapid reaction and harsh response.

Dozens of terrorists have reportedly lost their lives during the clashes.

Also, field sources said that sporadic clashes between the government and terrorist forces in the neighborhood of al-Wa’ar in Homs city injured two terrorists.

In a relevant development in the Eastern parts of Homs province, the Syrian air force destroyed ISIL’s military bases, fortifications and armored vehicles near the strategic Sha’er oilfield and to the East of Jab al-Jarah.

The Syrian fighter jets hit hard the military positions and vehicles of the Takfiri terrorists in the surrounding areas of Howeisis and near Sha’er oilfield.

The ISIL’s military positions were also annihilated in Jab al-Jarah region.

Scores of the ISIL militants were killed and wounded in the Syrian fighter jets’ raids on their positions.

The Syrian airstrikes comes in order to pave the way for Syrian army’s advances in Sha’er oilfield region.
