Syrian Army Tightens Grip on Al-Bahdaleyyah Militants

Military sources told al-Manar Website that the Syrian army tightened the grip on armed troops and Al-Nusra Front in Al-Bahdaleyyah in Damascus countryside and inflicted heavy losses amongst them.

The sources stated that after a quick operation from different axis, the Syrian army was able to siege the village and bomb the militants’ leadership centers, something that led to the dispersion of militants after inflicting them severe losses.

The sources added that the progress in al-Bahdaleyyah can help the Syrian army to tighten the grip on the armed groups in Damascus countryside more and more, as well as to paralyze their movement in the region in a bid to secure the area of Sayyeda Zainab and the surrounding region.

It is worth mentioning that al-Bahdaleyyah is located south Sayyeda Zainab area near al-Deyabeyyah and al-Husseineyyah. The town was considered a center for firing mortar shells sniper attacks.
