Iran Secures Agreement to Construct Four Ships for Venezuela

The commander of Iran's IRGC's Khatam-al Anbiya Construction Headquarters announced that Iran has entered into an agreement with Venezuela to construct four vessels, each with a capacity of 113,000 tons. To date, two of these ships have been successfully delivered.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has made significant progress towards achieving independence and self-sufficiency through the utilization of its domestic resources and specialized workforce, despite facing sanctions and external pressures. This announcement was made by Brigadier General Abdolreza Abed, the commander of the IRGC’s Khatam-al Anbiya Construction Headquarters, during a press conference at the 29th Iran Oil, Gas, Refining, and Petrochemical Exhibition.

In relation to the shared Arash gas field with Kuwait, it was declared that the Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters has expressed its complete readiness to undertake this significant and strategic project. This preparedness has been communicated to the pertinent institutions via the Ministry of Oil.

General Abed announced that a contract has been secured with Venezuela for the construction of four 113,000-ton vessels. Two ships have already been delivered, while preparations for the construction of the remaining two are in progress.
