Syrian Army units seize Israeli-made missiles, eliminate terrorists

The Syrian army’s operations on Thursday resulted in the destruction of terrorists’ dens and gatherings in several areas across the country, in addition to seizing Israeli-made missiles in Daraa.

Army units kill terrorists affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra in Homs and Idleb countryside

Army units killed and injured terrorists and destroyed their weaponry in Homs and Idleb countryside.

A military source told SANA that terrorists were killed in the neighborhoods of Bab Hood, al-Qusour, Joret al-Shayyah, al-Qarabis and al-Warsheh in Homs.

The source added that army units destroyed weapons and ammunition in Talbiseh, al-Ghanto, al-Rastan, al-Houla, al-Dar al-Kabira and al-Sma’lil as other units killed and injured terrorists in al-Sikhneh and al-Tibeh in Palmyra countryside.

In Idleb countryside, terrorist concentrations were destroyed in the towns and villages of Kafrlata, Maarblit, Bzabour and their weapons and ammunition were destroyed.

Scores of terrorists killed in Deir Ezzor

Units of the armed forces are progressing in al-Orfi neighborhood in the city of Deir Ezzor after having inflicted heavy losses upon the terrorists there.

A military source told SANA reporter that the army units seized control over more buildings in the neighborhood where the terrorists had been stationed.

The army units, the source added, foiled an attempt by an armed terrorist group to infiltrate al-Muwazafin neighborhood in the city.

The operation resulted in killing 10 terrorists and injuring many others, in addition to destroying their weapons and ammunition.

Other army units destroyed dens and gatherings for terrorists in the neighborhoods of al-Hweiqeh and al-ommal, leaving many of the terrorists dead and wounded.

An army unit clashed with a terrorist group to the east of Nadi Askar, killing 8 of its members and wounding others.

Chain of operations carried out in Damascus and its countryside

Meanwhile, many terrorists, including Arab mercenaries, were killed in a series of operations carried out in areas in Damascus city and its countryside.

SANA reporter quoted an official source as saying that three terrorists were killed in the surrounding of al-Kabir Mosque in al-Qaboun neighborhood in the city of Damascus, while others were killed and wounded in Barzeh neighborhood.

The source added that an army unit clashed with an armed terrorist group in al-Corniche in Joubar neighborhood in the countryside, killing two of its members.

Units of the armed forces carried out a chain of operations in the farms of the towns of Hteitet al-Turkman and Shabaa which resulted in the destruction of several terrorists’ dens along with the weapons and ammunition inside them.

A number of terrorists were killed during the operations, including Haitham Barghaleh.

Other three terrorists were killed and their weapons were destroyed near the intersection of al-Rihan town, while three others were killed to the west of al-Shifouniyeh in Duma area.

Deeper in the eastern Ghouta, a terrorists’ den was destroyed on al-Qassimiyeh-al-Dulbeh axis, with the weapons destroyed and a number of terrorists killed, including Osama Jamal-Eddin.

Terrorists were also killed in Daraya and al-Moadamiyeh districts.

In the meantime, an army unit carried out a special operation in which it killed and injured members of a terrorist group in al-Jam’iyat neighborhood in the city of Rankous. Terrorist Mohammad al-Saadi was identified among the dead.

Another operation was carried out in the eastern mountains of al-Zabadani city and resulted in a number of Jabhat al-Nusra-linked terrorists, including Furat al-Zantani from Libya.

Israeli-made missiles seized in Daraa

The armed forces units on Thursday confiscated Israeli-made missiles were in the possession of terrorists in Daraa countryside and destroyed a number of terrorists dens and gatherings.

A military source told SANA reporter that an army unit seized a car for terrorists loaded with large quantities of weapons and ammunition in Mahjjeh town, including four Lao Israeli-made missiles, 36 mortar rounds of 60 mm and a variety of ammunition.

The source added that terrorists’ gatherings and weapons were destroyed in the villages and towns and Nawa, Inkhel, al-Naemeh, Atman, Edwan, al-Za’roura, Ein al-Basha, al-Hairan, Ghadeer al-Bustan.

The source pointed that army units chased a terrorist group was trying to attack the old customs checkpoint, leaving most of the group members killed and wounded.

Fadlallah al-Masalmeh, Iskandar Salibi, Farzat Qtaifan and Abdul Rahman Abdullah Hamouda were identified among the dead.

Terrorists in Aleppo countryside and Palmyra eliminated with their weapons

Army units eliminated members of armed terrorist groups and destroyed heavy machine guns and a variety of weapons and ammunition were in their possession in Aleppo countryside.

A military source told SANA reporter that a number of terrorists were killed and injured as their weapons and vehicles were destroyed in the villages and towns of Qabtan al-Jabal, al- Mansoura, Jdaideh, Kweres and Rasm al-Abboud.

The source added that an army unit eliminated terrorists’ gatherings in north al-Hamimeh, south Abu Jabbar in the eastern countryside, north al-Neirab, Khan al-Assal, and the area surrounding the central prison, al-Kindi hospital, Azzan, al-Zebdieh, Pianon, al-Sheikh Saeed, Hayyan, Thahret al-Sherfeh , east of Khan Toman.

The source pointed out that another army unit killed members of an armed terrorist group and destroyed their weapons and equipment in Aziza village.

Ismail Hejazy, Mahmoud al-Shaar, Farhan Hassan Kassar were identified among the dead.

Armed terrorist groups were eliminated and heavy machine guns were destroyed in the villages of Kfar Kar, al-Mintar and near sewage company, east of al-Ramouseh.
