Syrian Army Wins back Nearly 20 towns, Heights, Farms from ISIL in Eastern Aleppo

 

The Syrian Army troop continue their anti-ISIL operation in Eastern Aleppo after driving terrorists out of 19 towns and strategic heights and farms and killing a large number of militants.

The army soldiers engaged in fierce clashes with ISIL terrorists and managed to seize back the towns of Qadini, al-Faloutiyeh, Rasm al-Homam, al-Attibeh, al-Ariziyeh, Qasr Soloum, Abajeh, Abajeh farms, Rasm al-Ahmar, the strategic Mount al-Salmeh, Mount Salma al-Manfoukheh, Um Mayal Miri, Abu Tineh, Moshrefeh, Ismayeeliyeh, Jarkas, Rasm al-Jabas, Rasm al-Homam Miri and Tanouzeh.

Field sources said that a large number of ISIL terrorists have been killed and several bomb-laden vehicles and nine military vehicles of them have been destroyed, while an armored vehicles manufactured by western states has been seized in the latest round of army attack.

In relevant developments in the province on Monday, the army troops won back two small but key towns on their way towards the terrorist-held al-Khafseh town.

The Army soldiers deployed in their positions near the towns of Abu Jadheh Saqir and al-Qithe Sharqi stormed ISIL’s strongholds in the towns of Abu Had Kabir and Al-Rouqiyeh along the road to al-Khafseh and won control over the towns.

Field sources said that tens of ISIL terrorists were killed or wounded in the army attack.

They added that the pro-government forces are now advancing towards the ISIL-held towns of Um al-Azm and Mastariheh.
