Tehran Muslim Unity conference issue statement

n00122042-b (1)The 26th International Islamic Unity Conference has issued a statement at the end of the two day conference in Tehran.
Participants at the conference has stressed that the proximity of Islamic religions is the most important way to realize Muslim Ummah unity and the believers in the pillars of Islam and have not ruled out any of the necessities form the unity.

According to the statement, political differences should never inflame ideological, historical difference and instigating any kind of factional or ethnic conspiracy will only serve the enemies.

Participants at the conference also reviewed the tradition or Sunnah of the holy prophet and stressed on practicing the prophet’s lifestyle in their life.

Muslims attending the conference believe that the Muslim Ummah is facing great challenges which has targeted the beliefs and Muslim civilization, aiming at hatching plots to devour historical, factional , religious identity of Muslims.

According to the statement issued, participants call for mutual respect and leaving the differences to ulema and experts to be solved, while refraining from insulting each other.

Meanwhile, partakers at the conference call on Muslims to innovate in intellectual fields which would lead into proximity among Muslims.

Tehran International Muslim Unity Conference believe that a proclamation for proximity does not mean religious prejudice or propagating a religious sect among other religions and the points propagated as efforts to turn Shiites into Sunnis, or vice-versa is just a conspiracy kindled by enemies to hatch plots among Muslims.

Participants at Tehran conference also denounce the Israeli regime aggression against Palestinian nation, while condemning the efforts launched to destroy the Holy mosque and Palestinian homes.

Participants at the international conference also called on Muslim states to find solution to end crisis in Muslim countries, especially Syria.

The two-day international conference has wrapped up in Tehran on Monday.

Some 102 countries worldwide have participated the conference.
