Syrian government and takfiris reach a new deal concerning besieged towns in Idlib

Syrian authorities and the leadership of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS, Syrian Al-Qaeda branch) have settled a new deal which concerns two predominately Shia Muslim towns in Idlib province, Al-Foua’a and Kefrayya, besieged by jihadists.

In accordance with the agreement, four severely sick persons along with 12 members of their families are to be evacuated to government-controlled areas in Hama province.

In return, the same number of HTS jihadists and their family members will be transferred from Yarmouk district in southern Damascus to Idlib province.

The deal is set to be implemented on Thursday.
