Syrian troops defeat terrorists in capital

The Syrian Army has killed a large number of foreign-backed terrorists in clashes in Damascus and its suburbs.

According to Press TV, on Friday, government troops inflicted heavy losses on the terrorists and retook the suburb of Daraya, south of the Syrian capital.
In addition, a number of rebels were killed when Syrian soldiers targeted a terrorist hideout in the western city of Hama.
A large quantity of arms and ammunitions were also seized from the rebels holed up in the hideout.
On Thursday, the Syrian Army overpowered extremists of the al-Nusra Front in areas surrounding Ghouta, which is located east of Damascus.
The Syria crisis began in March 2011, and many people, including large numbers of army and security personnel, have been killed.
