Syria’s al-Jolani holds meeting with Turkey’s Erdogan in Ankara
On Tuesday, Abu Muhammad Al Jolani, the newly established leader of Syria, engaged in discussions with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara.

Abu Muhammad al-Jolani, the head of the designated terrorist organization Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), departed from the Syrian capital, Damascus, earlier today en route to Turkey. This marks his second official international visit since assuming leadership in Syria.
Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani is traveling with Al-Jolani during the diplomatic visit to Turkey.
Abu Muhammad Al-Jolani concluded his visit to Saudi Arabia on Monday, underscoring the importance of strengthening relations with the Kingdom.
