Tehran Businesses and Markets Resume Operations

The Chamber of Guilds in Tehran declared the resumption of normal business operations in the Iranian capital on June 21, following a pause triggered by the recent hostilities initiated by Israel.

The Chamber of Guilds of Tehran announced that as of Saturday, June 21, all guilds and professional unions in the capital have resumed their standard operations.

On June 13, Israel launched a series of unexpected strikes targeting Iran’s military and nuclear installations, as well as residential areas, resulting in the partial shutdown of businesses.

As calm is restored following the Iranian Armed Forces’ decisive retaliatory strikes against the Zionist regime, residents who had evacuated the capital have started to return home.

Traffic congestion is reported on routes leading to Tehran as residents make their way back home, with security measures fully in place across the city.
