The 23rd Tehran International Holy Quran Exhibition will be launched here in the Iranian capital next week.

Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Reza Heshmati, the Quran and Etrat deputy of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, said Culture Minister Ali Jannati and Tehran Mayor Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf will be present at the opening ceremony on Wednesday, June 23.

He said the expo had been planned to be opened on the first day of the holy month of Ramadan (June 18) but was postponed with the aim of attracting maximum participation, IRNA reported.

Hojat-ol-Islam Heshmati went on to say that the international Quranic event will run until the end of Ramadan (July 17).

The Tehran International Holy Quran Exhibition is annually mounted by the ministry of culture and Islamic guidance.

It is organized during the blessed month of Ramadan with the aim of stimulating development and promotion in concepts of the Noble Quran.

The expo showcases the latest developments and achievements in Quranic sciences, activities and products.
This edition of the exhibition, like last year’s, will be hosted by the Sacred Defense Garden Museum.
