Senior Diplomat Roknabadi: “Iran supports the Lebanese people”

Iran’s ambassador to Lebanon, Ghazanfar Roknabadi, has emphasized that Iran supports the Lebanese people, and Iran backs all the various political factions in Lebanon, and all Lebanese groups.

According to IRIB, in a meeting with Lebanon’s Labour minister, Saj’aan Ghezi, Iran’s ambassador to Lebanon, Ghazanfar Roknabadi, emphasized that Iran welcomes cooperation between all Lebanese factions and all Lebanese political parties, stressing that Iran believes such cooperation is very useful and should be encouraged.
Roknabadi stressed that Iran supports Lebanon’s political parties, including the Al-Kataeb political party, and the former Lebanese president Amin Jamayel.
Roknabadi said both before and after the victory of the Islamic revolution in Iran, a number of Lebanese families, including the Jemayel family, were present in Iran.
Roknabadi emphasized that Iran, in order to encourage cooperation between all Lebanese factions, is in contact with all Lebanese groups, including the Al-Kataeb political party.
