Tehran’s Friday Prayer Sermons

Tehran’s interim Friday Prayer Leader, Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati, noted that the holding of the upcoming presidential elections in Iran is in line with the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Constitution.

According to IRIB World Service, Ayatollah Jannati went on to refer to the efforts of a few foreign-based opponents of the sacred Islamic system to marginalize Iran’s upcoming presidential election, while pointing out that the people of Islamic Iran are highly insightful and like the previous years will foil and thwart the seditious plots of the enemies through their presence in the sensitive scenes of Iran’s Islamic Revolution.
Furthermore, Ayatollah Jannati strongly condemned the brutal suppression of peaceful demonstrations of the people of Bahrain against Aale Khalifa regime, while emphasizing that the Bahraini nation should know future belongs to them and injustices will not last.
On the recent political tensions in Iraq, Ayatollah Jannati noted that the US and Zionist regime of Israel are stirring sedition in Iraq and are intent on fueling war and insecurity in this country.
Tehran’s interim Friday Prayer Leader emphasized that the people of Iraq should be vigilant and must prevent the materialization of the enemies’ conspiracies through their unity and solidarity.
In further remarks, Ayatollah Jannati lauded the cooperation of Syrian government in the release of Iranian pilgrims, who were kidnapped by the insurgents in Syria.
