In further remarks, Ayatollah Emami Kashani emphasized that Takfiri extremists have marred the image of Islam , and that Muslims should avoid any issues which are divisive, or cause rifts among Muslims.

Tehran’s interim Friday prayers Leader went on to regret the fact that Iran’s invitation to the Geneva II peace conference had been rescinded , and emphasized that the Islamic Republic is very influential and plays a pivotal role in the middle east.
