Hamas: The ceasefire with Hezbollah shatters Israel’s perceived ability to reshape the geopolitical landscape of West Asia
The Palestinian resistance group Hamas has stated that the recent ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hezbollah has dispelled Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's perceived "illusion" of transforming the geopolitical landscape of West Asia through military means.

On Tuesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu agreed to the terms of an accord anticipated to conclude the regime’s months-long violent confrontation with Lebanon.
This development followed a session of his “security cabinet” convened to deliberate on a proposal submitted by the United States and France.
Hamas announced on its Telegram channel on Wednesday that the adversary’s agreement with Lebanon, without adhering to its own preconditions, marks a significant development in dispelling Benjamin Netanyahu’s aspirations of altering the geopolitical landscape of the Middle East through force.
The statement noted that Netanyahu’s aspirations to vanquish or disarm the Resistance forces have been consigned to oblivion.
The Israeli government has reportedly resulted in the deaths of over 3,700 individuals in Lebanon, with recent casualties including 42 fatalities nationwide on Tuesday. Additionally, approximately 15,700 people have sustained injuries in the ongoing conflict.
“We applaud the significant contribution of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon to supporting the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian resistance, acknowledging the considerable sacrifices made by Hezbollah and its leadership under the guidance of Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.”
Hamas has expressed its gratitude towards the Lebanese people for their unwavering support and solidarity with the Palestinians in their struggle against the Israeli occupation. The organization acknowledged Lebanon’s continuous backing amidst what it described as severe aggression. Furthermore, Hamas extended prayers for Lebanon’s safety and well-being, hoping that the nation and its citizens would be shielded from all forms of harm and adversity.
Israeli military commanders had vowed to eliminate Hezbollah’s presence in southern Lebanon, but were ultimately required to agree to a ceasefire without fulfilling those objectives.
Hamas declared that the recent agreement was made possible through the unwavering resolve of the Resistance and the solid backing it received from the populace. The statement expressed confidence that the Resistance Axis will persist in its support for the people, providing assistance in their struggle by any available means.
Hezbollah has launched a series of effective retaliatory strikes targeting key military installations within the occupied territories, in response to what it describes as Israeli aggression.
The Lebanese resistance movement has reported that recent strikes have resulted in the deaths of over 100 Israeli soldiers, with injuries reported for more than a thousand others.
