Helicopter crashes northeast of Saudi Arabia, killing four crew members
A Saudi military helicopter has crashed during a night training exercise in the northeast of the kingdom, killing its four crew members, the defence ministry said.
The aircraft came down late on Monday, in a training zone west of the King Khaled military base in Hafr al-Batin, some 100 kilometres (60 miles) south of the Iraqi border, the ministry said in a statement.
It said an investigation has been launched into the incident.
