More civilians are falling victim to terrorists’ mortar shells that have been claiming citizens’ lives as they are randomly hitting various areas in Damascus.
A source at Damascus Police Command told SANA on Tuesday that a mortar shell fired by terrorists hit a house in Baghdad street, claiming the lives of 3 citizens and injuring 4 others, in addition to causing material damage to the citizens’ properties.
Two mortar shells also fell in the campus of the Vocational Rehabilitation Center for the Disabled, causing material damage, but no casualties were reported.
The source said that 17 citizens were injured after a mortar shells fired by terrorists hit residential buildings in Masaken Barzeh neighborhood.
Meanwhile, a girl was martyred and another was injured, after a mortar shell landed near al-Jebbeh Roundabout in al-Sheikh Mehi-Eddin neighborhood in the city.
