The Syrian Army announced on Sunday that the terrorist groups’ camps in the Central province of Homs were stormed by the country’s troops, resulting in the destructions of the camps’ infrastructures.

The sources said that the army raided the militants’ strongholds from the direction of al-Sa’an al-Aswad village towards a military point in al-Mashrafa village in North of Homs city, which left heavy damage on the militants’ military equipment.

The sources further added that the terrorist groups’ centers near Jawalak village, in Oum Sharshouh, al-Wa’ra and al-Hilalia West of the town of Talbiseh came under the Syrian forces’ offensives, which set a large munitions depot ablaze.

On Saturday, Syrian fighter jets’ continued bombing of the militant groups’ positions in the Central Province of Homs left scores of the terrorists dead or wounded and their military equipment destroyed.

The sources said that the Takfiri terrorists’ hideouts and a rocket launching pad were destroyed as a result of the Syrian air force’s airstrikes on their positions in al-Rastan North of Homs city.

The sources further added that the militant centers also came under the Syrian warplanes’ attacks in al-Ghanto and Talbiseh, resulting in heavy casualties of the terrorist groups.

Also in Saturday, the Nusra strongholds in the surroundings of Tirmaala and Jawalik towns were massively bombed by the Syrian warplanes, which resulted in destructions of the militant sits’ infrastructures and ammunition depot.

On Friday, the Syrian Army alongside popular forces pushed back militant groups from vast areas in the Northern parts of Homs province, and won back three more villages in their operations.

The sources said that the army and popular forces seized back Snisil, al-Mahatta and Jawalak villages in the Northern countryside of Homs, after heavy clashes with the terrorist groups.

Several strategic regions in the Northern countryside of Homs province were regained by forces trained by a Brigade that was formed by Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Commander Brigadier General Hossein Hamadani who was killed in Northern Syria earlier this month.

Imam Reza (AS) Brigade that was formed of the Syrian popular forces by Brigadier General Hamadani and trained by the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement could recapture a number of blocks and farms in Mukhtariya district in the Eastern part of Tir al-Ma’aleh region, Homs province, a field source told FNA on Thursday.

He added that Imam Reza (AS) forces also inflicted heavy loss and damage on the terrorists’ strongholds in the region and made them flee the scene after fierce clashes.

The IRGC in a statement on October 9 announced that its war veteran commander had been killed in Northern Syria, while providing military counseling services to the Syrian forces in their fight against the Takfiri terrorists.

General Hamadani was martyred during an attack by the ISIL Takfiri terrorists in the outskirts of the city of Aleppo while fulfilling his duty as military advisor and defending the holy Shiite shrines in the country, said the statement.

General Hamadani was in Syria to render military advice to the Syrian army and popular forces in their fight against the ISIL terrorists in the Arab country.
