Terrorists almost encircled in northeastern Damascus suburb

Non-stop clashes broke out in a key terrorist-held suburb in northeast Damascus as fighting rages in several fronts in the East Ghouta region.

Substantial gains have been made by the SAA’s elite 4^th Armoured Division in Harasta Suburb by recapturing several farms and points located southeast of al-Beiruni Hospital following fierce battles against Ahrar al-Sham terrorist group.

The newly-restored area houses a complex network of tunnels connecting Harasta to other major rebel bastion; namely Douma.

According to sources, the troops are roughly 1 km from al- Beiruni gas station located along the Harasta-Douma road. Thus, terrorists will be completely encircled inside Harasta.

In a related context, aid convoys entered, today, the city of Douma through al-Wafideen crossing point for the first time since the Syrian Forces launched a full-scale offensive against the terrorists-controlled East Ghouta region.
