Terrorists Escaping from Battlefields after Syrian Army Gains in Idlib Province

A number of terrorists of Al-Nusra Front (Tahrir al-Sham Hay’at or the Levant Liberation Board) have started escaping the battlefield North of the newly-captured town of Sinjar, rushing towards Abu al-Dhohour airbase as the Syrian Army is advancing Northward, military sources said on Monday.

The sources said that the army is 14 km away from Abu al-Dhohour airbase after beating the Al-Nusra back from Sinjar and several neaby villages and small towns.

The sources said that a number of terrorists have fled the frontline towards Abu al-Dhohour and the Northern towns in Idlib province after heavy attacks of the army inflicted major casualties on the Al-Nusra, Ajnad al-Qafqaz and the Islamic Turkistani Party in Southeastern Idlib.

Dissident-affiliated websites disclosed earlier today that the newly-appointed Chief Commander of Tahrir al-Sham Hayat and other notorious terrorist commanders in Northwestern Syria have held an emergency meeting to find a way to slow down government forces’ advances in Idlib province.

The websites reported that Abu Mohammad al-Joulani, who was appointed as the Commander-in-chief of Tahrir al-Sham Hay’at in October, and a number of senior commanders of Al-Nusra held a meeting to study recent military developments in Southeastern Idlib and Northeastern Hama.

The websites released a photo of the meeting participated by al-Joulani and other Al-Nusra commanders with disturbed faces.

The army men have managed to advance against Al-Nusra and captured the town of Sinjar, rushing from two flanks towards the besieged Shiite towns of Fua’a and Kafraya in the Northeastern countryside of Idlib city.
