Terrorists Escaping from Battlefields amid Syrian Army Advances in Eastern Damascus

 

The terrorist front is on the verge of collapse in Eastern Ghouta following rapid advances of the Syrian Army troops, field sources reported on Sunday.

The army men, backed up by artillery units, engaged in a fresh round of clashes with the terrorists and captured several positions North of Abu Bakr mosque near the governor’s office in the town of Harasta in Eastern Damascus, the sources said.

The sources said that the Syrian Air Force carried out continued attacks on the defense line of terrorists near the Vehicles Management Center in Harasta, killing and wounding a number of terrorists.

The army men have also imposed control over al-Bashr Hospital and the Old Grain Mill in Harasta.

The sources said that the army’s advances and heavy attacks in Eastern Ghouta have forced a number of terrorists to leave behind their equipment and escape from the battlefield.

They said that Bakr Aloush, a field commander of terrorists, has been killed in clashes with the army men near Abu Bakr mosque in Harasta.

Relevant reports said on Saturday that the army men, backed up by the army’s artillery unit and Air Force, attacked the terrorists near the Vehicles Management Center in Harasta region, taking control over several buildings near the Police Anti-Crime Office in Southwestern Harasta near the town of Arbin.

The army men, meantime, seized control over eight buildings in al-Ajami neighborhood in the town of Harasta and a mosque in the town.
