Terrorists’ Narrow Corridor in Southern Aleppo Still Closed under Heavy Bombardments

“The Jeish al-Fatah-established narrow corridor is actually useless. No one can use it. 24-hour artillery and missile shelling and heavy bombardments of the Russian and Syrian fighter jets have left no chance for the terrorist groups to use this passage to send arms, ammunition or medical equipment to militant-held districts in Aleppo,” the sources said.
“In the meantime, the Syrian Army restored security to several roads near Aleppo city and transferred enough fuel to a key power plant in the province,” the sources added.
On Monday, Russian fighter jets launched several rounds of combat flights over al-Ramousiyeh neighborhood and bombed the narrow corridor that Jeish al-Fatah opened in the Southern part of Aleppo city.
“Jeish al-Fatah’s temporary supply line to the Southern districts of Aleppo city was massively bombed by the Russian warplanes,” sources said, adding, “Jeish al-Fatah cannot use this narrow corridor on the Southern side of Aleppo city due to the heavy bombardments of the Syrian and Russian aircraft.”
