Yemeni Armed Forces Engage Vessel in Red Sea Amid Solidarity Efforts with Resistance Movements in Lebanon and Palestine

The Yemeni Armed Forces have announced the execution of a military operation against the vessel “Anadolu” in the Red Sea. This action was reportedly carried out using a combination of ballistic and naval missiles and was expressed as a demonstration of solidarity with the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples and their resistance.

Yemeni military spokesperson General Yahya Sarea reported that a naval strike had been executed with precision and directness.

General Sarea stated that the vessel was targeted due to its failure to comply with naval force warnings and because its owning company breached the prohibition on entering ports in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have announced the continuation of a naval blockade against Israel, stating their intent to target any vessels associated with, en route to, or conducting business with the nation. The forces emphasized their ongoing efforts to engage Israel with missile and drone operations. These actions, they stated, will persist until hostilities cease, the blockade on the Gaza Strip is lifted, and actions against Lebanon are halted.
