The Leader of Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Khamenei’s Message to Conference on Qotb-al-Dinn Shirazi

The Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei, has stressed the need for the public to be made aware of the golden period in which Muslims flourished and excelled in science and technology.

The Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei stressed that young people in particular need to know about the brilliant Muslim scientists of the past, who can act as a role-model and an inspiration for the current generation of youngsters.
In a message to an international congress on renowned Iranian mystic, philosopher, religious scholar and scientist, Allameh Qotb-al-dinn Shirazi , The Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei stressed the importance of informing the public about the flourishing of science in Iran, and the lives of prominent Iranian scientists, during the golden period when science flourished in Iran and the Islamic world. The Supreme Leader stressed that prominent Muslim scientists can be suitable role models for the younger generation.

In his message, The Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei said commemorating prominent scientists such as Qotb-al-dinn Shirazi is a useful exercise, because young people will become aware of this prominent Iranian scientist and religious scholar, who can be a very suitable role-model for them.

Elsewhere in his message The Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei said at a time when there was no scientific research of any kind in Europe and the West, there was a flourishing science movement in Iran, and plenty of scientific research was undertaken in Iran, in many scientific disciplines (in many areas of science).
