Deputy Minister of Defense: Iran ready to repel threats

Brigadier General Qasem Taqizadeh said on Tuesday, “The defense ministry has stood today against the threats of the United States and the Zionist regime, and believes that if something happens, we are fully prepared for defense.”

Earlier, Iranian Minister of Defense said making dual efforts and using world’s latest technology to address the concerns of the armed forces of Iran is of prime importance.

Speaking at Aircraft Industry Company, Brigadier General Amir Hatami reiterated importance of air industry’s position in enhancing the defense and deterrence power of the armed forces.

He said the Ministry of Defense’s Aviation Industries Organization opened a line for production of aircraft of all types.

General Hatami described the status and effective role of the Ministry of Defense’s air defense industry in the recent advancement of the aerospace, and said, ‘The organization has proved that it is possible to use all capacities and scientific capabilities of the country and in close cooperation with the Air Force of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran reached strategic products which it can be prominently featured in the development of Kosar fighter jets, which was really important for promoting the reputation of the Islamic Republic of Iran.’
