Thousands mourn al-Qassam element

Thousands of mourners walked in the funeral procession of martyr Rabee Baraket, 21, from Khan Younis southern Gaza Strip.

The funeral march started from Nasser Medical Complex to the martyr’s house amid calls for a response to the Israeli crimes.

Hammad Raqab, Hamas spokesman in Khan Younis, praised the martyr’s sacrifices in defense of Palestinian people, pointing to al-Qassam Brigades’ braveness in blocking Israeli incursions into the Strip.

He stated that the resistance’s achievement was a clear message to the negotiators that only resistance could put an end to the Israeli continued violations.

He pointed to the resistance’s readiness to confront any Israeli aggression, calling on all Palestinian factions to unite their efforts in defense of the Palestinian people.

The Gaza medical services said the bodies of three martyrs of al-Qassam Brigades were not yet recovered.

For his part, Hamas political bureau member, Mousa Abu Marzouk, stated that the martyrdom of four of al-Qassam Brigades at dawn Friday refuted claims and incitements against the Brigades and Hamas movement mainly that it had stopped resisting Israel and acted as a guard for its borders.
