Three More Palestinians Martyred by Zionist Airstrikes, Death Toll in Gaza Climbs to 25

For a third consecutive day, the Israeli regime has launched airstrikes on the besieged Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of three Palestinians, including a high-ranking commander of the Palestinian resistance movement of the Islamic Jihad.

Early Thursday morning, a building in Hamad Residential City, close to Khan Younis in the southern Gaza strip, was targeted by strikes.

A statement from the al-Quds Brigades, the resistance group’s armed wing, reported that Ali Ghali, commander of the rocket launch unit, was assassinated in the south of the Gaza Strip along with other martyrs.

Since Tuesday, the Israeli government has been bombarding the besieged Palestinian territory with continuous air attacks.

At least 25 Palestinians have been killed and 76 others wounded due to the continuous aggression.

Three senior commanders of the Islamic Jihad, as well as their wives and children, were among the fatalities.

On Wednesday, Gaza’s Palestinian resistance groups launched a fresh set of retaliatory rockets towards Israeli cities, including Tel Aviv, as a reaction to the regime’s deadly air raids.

In a statement, the Gaza joint command of Palestinian resistance groups declared that they had launched “hundreds” of rockets towards the occupied Palestinian territories, in an operation titled “Revenge of the Free.”

The resistance will stay unified on all fronts of the homeland, working as one unit, acting as both a sword and a shield to protect our people, land, and sacred places, the statement declared.

If the occupation continues to show aggression and arrogance, the resistance is prepared for any eventuality and dark times await them.

The besieged Gaza Strip has fired at least 500 rockets towards Tel Aviv’s territories.

On Wednesday, Antonio Guterres, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, denounced the slaughter of civilians in the besieged Gaza Strip by the Israeli regime as “unacceptable”.

Farhan Haq, deputy UN spokesperson, called on the occupying regime to “immediately” halt the bloodshed, as per the plea of the UN chief.

Haq stated that Israel must comply with its responsibilities under international humanitarian law, such as using appropriate levels of force and doing everything possible to protect civilians and civilian property in military operations.

On Wednesday, the Arab League Council strongly denounced the “brutal Israeli assaults on the Gaza Strip, which targeted civilians, including children and women, in residential areas as they were peacefully sleeping in their homes.”
