Top Commander Urges Regional Alliance against Israel to Liberate Occupied Territories

Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces for Cultural Affairs and Defense Publicity Brigadier General Massoud Jazayeri called for unity of the Muslim and regional countries against Israel to help liberate the occupied territories.
“Everyone knows that the survival of the occupying Zionist regime is due to the extensive supports of the US and other western countries under the umbrella of the international Zionism, but if the regional countries come into consensus, the US cannot do anything and Palestine will be (freed and) returned to the Palestinians,” Jazayeri said.

He pointed to the upcoming International Quds Day slated to be held across the world on August 2, saying that the Quds Day has become a symbol of international unity against Zionism and its pillars are reinforced in the course of time and the US and the Zionists should eventually bow to the strong global will.

Earlier this week, an Iranian official lambasted the Zionist regime for its massive crimes against the Palestinians, and said the regime has even inflicted heavy losses on Judaism.

Secretary of the international conference dubbed ‘Palestine; Pivot of Muslim World Unity’ Hojatoleslam Mostafa Ranjbar Shirazi made the remarks in the international conference on Palestine in Tehran.

He said that if Muslims mull compiling an Encyclopedia of words including crimes, murder and displacement of humanity, its maximum part will be alluded to Israeli criminals.

If the International Court of Justice be held to deal with the crimes committed in Palestine, it is clear crystal that that the Israeli leaders would be held accountable for crimes against humanity and at the same time they have inflicted heavy losses on Judaism, Ranjbar Shirazi noted.

Also during the same conference, Palestinian Ambassador to Tehran Salah al-Zawawi described the Palestinian issue as the most important problem of the Muslim world, and said freedom of the Palestinian territories occupied by the Zionist regime is the responsibility of all freedom-seekers.

“The freedom of Palestine is the responsibility of all the world freedom-seekers,” Zawawi said.

He warned about Israel and the western countries’ plots to create division and war among the Muslim states to make them forget the Palestinian issue, and said, “Palestine will be freed one day since Palestinian fighters have fought in the past and will continue fighting in future too.”
