Top Field Commander of ISIL Killed in Iraq

The Iraqi forces killed a prominent commander of the ISIL Takfiri terrorist group in the Western side of the country.

Iraqi soldiers along with popular forces conducted special operation against a group of ISIL Takfiri terrorists while they were trying to cross the Euphrates River near the strategic town of Heet in Anbar province.

According to the Iraqi Minister of Defense, Iraqi forces killed a total number of 8 Takfiri terrorists, including the group’s top field commander, Ahmad Majeed.

Majeed was identified by locals and former assaciates in Heet as the main leader of the ISIL in the region.
