Top General: Iran Questions Zionist Regime’s Commitment to Ceasefire
The Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces has raised significant concerns regarding Israel's adherence to the US-declared unilateral ceasefire, cautioning that Iran is prepared to respond decisively if the regime resumes its acts of aggression.

He asserted that while they did not start the conflict, their response to the aggressor was resolute. Furthermore, due to serious skepticism regarding the enemy’s commitment to agreements, including the ceasefire, they are ready to deliver a robust response should the aggression be repeated.

Israel unilaterally suspended its offensive against Iran last Tuesday following the announcement of a ceasefire by Trump. According to his former advisor, Steve Bannon, Tel Aviv was compelled to agree to the ceasefire in order to preserve itself, as the initiated aggression had surpassed its capabilities.
In comments released on Wednesday, Bannon stated that the ceasefire, orchestrated by Trump with Qatar’s assistance, “was as much to save Israel.”
In an interview, Steve Bannon remarked, “That’s the hidden story here.” He further commented, “They took on more than they could handle. They were outmaneuvered,” as Iran delivered significant setbacks to Israel.
The initiative was initiated on June 13, focusing on high-ranking Iranian military officials, nuclear experts, as well as general citizens, encompassing both women and children.
In retaliation, Iranian military forces launched a series of advanced missiles targeting the Zionist regime, successfully breaching Israel’s previously reputed multilayered defense system.
Iran’s military forces launched a barrage of cutting-edge missiles targeting the military and industrial infrastructure of the Israeli regime. The new-generation weaponry successfully struck the intended objectives.
General Mousavi stated that the Zionist regime, alongside the United States, has encroached upon Iranian territory despite the restraint demonstrated by the Islamic Republic. This development occurs amid ongoing indirect negotiations with the United States.
“He noted that these two regimes have demonstrated a disregard for international rules and norms, a fact highlighted during the enforced 12-day conflict.”
Prince Khalid emphasized that the Saudi government has gone beyond merely condemning the aggression, actively engaging in significant efforts to bring an end to the war and hostility, according to IRNA.
He also extended his condolences for the loss of several Iranian commanders who were martyred during the recent unprovoked aggression by Israel.
According to Iran’s official news agency, both parties stressed the need to persist with consultations aimed at enhancing bilateral relations, as well as establishing security and peace in the region. They highlighted the significant roles Iran and Saudi Arabia play in realizing these objectives.
