Top General: Iran to attack any target belonging to Zionist enemy
Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, the head of the Iranian Armed Forces Chiefs of Staff, has vowed to escalate attacks on Israel, citing ongoing aggression from the regime against Iran that has persisted for almost a week.
A senior military official declared on Thursday that, with divine assistance, efforts would persist in targeting entities associated with the occupying Zionist regime, stating that no restrictions are anticipated in this pursuit.
Mousavi made these comments during a visit to a base operated by the Aerospace Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps.
He commended the troops stationed at the base for their exceptional morale and state of readiness.
He also commended the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Aerospace Force for executing precise and impactful strikes on Israeli targets in recent days, which were in retaliation to the regime’s aggressive actions against Iran.
On Wednesday evening, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that the Armed Forces have deployed a novel and formidable missile system targeting sites in Israel. The statement revealed that the missiles used were of the Sejjil variety, known for their two-stage capabilities, long-range reach, and significant weight.
Israel conducted a series of overnight strikes on June 13, targeting various locations in Iran, including residential areas in Tehran. The operation resulted in the assassination of senior Iranian military figures and caused civilian casualties as several homes were directly impacted by the attacks. Iranian authorities have denounced the incident as an unprovoked act of aggression.
Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, announced the appointment of new military commanders and warned that life would become dire for Israel. Following these appointments, the Iranian Armed Forces launched punitive attacks within Israeli-occupied territories, targeting cities such as Tel Aviv and Haifa with missile and drone barrage. On Tuesday, Major General Mousavi indicated that the Armed Forces would soon transition from deterrent actions to definitive punitive strikes.
